Privacy Policy

GTHR is a personal scheduling helper that finds a time that works for everyone in a group text. The service is operated by an individual (sole proprietor) based in the United States. Contact: gatherapp@proton.me.

• Phone numbers of people in a group text that includes our number, including the sender and other recipients visible to our messaging provider (Telnyx).
• Message content sent to our number, only as necessary to interpret event details (what to schedule, when people are free).
• Derived availability — start and end times each person tells us they are free, parsed from their replies.
• Operational logs — provider message IDs and delivery status (e.g. delivered, failed) for diagnostic purposes.

We do not collect names, addresses, payment information, location, or any messages exchanged in a group text that do not include our number. We do not read message threads we are not a participant in.

• To run the scheduling flow you initiated (DM each participant, compute overlap, send the result back to the group).
• To diagnose delivery problems and improve reliability.
• To respect STOP / HELP keyword requests as required by US wireless carriers.

We do not sell or share your phone number or message content with third parties for marketing. We do not use your data to train AI models.

• Telnyx and/or Twilio — the messaging carriers that route SMS to and from our service.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Turso — database hosting (session and availability records).

Each acts as a processor on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies.

Sessions and availability records are kept while a scheduling session is active and for a short period afterward for diagnostic reasons. You may request deletion of your records by emailing the address above; we will remove records associated with your phone number within 30 days.

Reply STOP to any message from GTHR to opt out of all further messages. Reply HELP for information about the service. Carrier-standard message and data rates may apply.

GTHR is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
